HOW TO ENROL

We are running our French club in many schools. If you wish to enrol your child in our French club in your school, you can:

-Drop us an email with your child full name, school name and year.

-Approach the school secretary directly.

FEES AND CANCELLATION

We do not charge for any registration fees and we think that continuity is the best way to learn a language, once you have registered in our club, your child will be on our register for the following term or year.

We therefore do ask for cancellation in writing 14 days prior to the start of each term or your child will be called in the lessons and these will be due.

OUR LESSONS CONTENT

The lessons are happy and busy with plenty of activities.
These include stimulating language games, role-play, songs and stories all in French
using educational toys and puppets to encourage participation.
Our themes include the QCA guidelines for KS2 Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) in Primary schools.

Intro

Our Bonjour, bonjour song is very popular with young chidlren. They learn how to say how they feel effortlessly. It is a lovely and happy way to start any lessons.

Puppets

We use Puppets to say how we feel and introduce ourselves to others. Our puppets only speak French! They love to put on a show and encourage the children to speak.

Theme

With over 30 different themes, children will learn a variety of vocabulary throughout their years in our club. Our programme is designed to: revise and build on earlier material, work with the level of each child to develop their communication and learning skills.

Actions

This is a great time for the children to move around as they learn many verbs! Again playing with actions and words, the children remember the words with minimum effort!

Colours & Numbers

We us flash cards, toys, prompt, actions. Another way to make sure the children get as much interaction as possible and move around during the lesson.

weather

Our weather wheel is a great way to learn basic weather vocabulary. Once the children are familiar with it, we move on with props and then describing the weather outside.

Feed back

Every 3 weeks, the younger children will take home a colouring page with the main words from our current theme. Older children will get a fun exercises page to start reading and writing.

At the end of each term, we will provide a file with all the vocabulary the children have seen during the term and feed back on the group. This can be used to practice at home with your child.

If you do wish to have more info about your child's lesson content and feed back on their progress, this can be given on request. Just drop us an email.
